Made from 100% New Zealand wool with a plush two-inch pile depth, this traditional Greek rug was made in the same way and the same place as Flokati rugs have been for centuries. Hand-woven and sewn in Greece, each rug is subjected to tremendous amounts of water pressure for 40 hours in friction baths connected to the Pindos Mountain waterfalls. The water causes the pile to swell, and the rug is then dried naturally to achieve a weight of 2000 grams/m2.
